NFL Week 11 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 11 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)
Last Week: 9-5
Season: 91-55-5
Thursday Night Football
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)
The Ravens get this game at home and will want to get things back on track after blowing the lead to the Browns. Cincinnati could be without Trey Hendrickson and Tee Higgins for this game, which would make things very tough on a short week.
Pick: Ravens
Sunday Afternoon
Dallas Cowboys (-10.5) at Carolina Panthers
Dallas is riding high after their beatdown of the Giants. They look like they are hitting their stride. Their defensive line can make it tough for Bryce Young and they can cover a large spread.
Pick: Cowboys
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns (-4)
Both of these teams just find ways to win games, even when they are outplayed. The Browns have had trouble with the Steelers in the past so taking them with the points could be the move.
Pick: Steelers
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions (-10)
With Justin Fields still banged up, the Lions shouldn’t have too much resistance against the Bears. Even if he plays, Detroit should be able to limit his throwing ability.
Pick: Lions
Arizona Cardinals at Houston Texans (-4)
Kyler Murray looked good in his return to the field. Going on the road and playing a tough Texans team will be tough. C.J. Stroud is on fire and can protect their home turf.
Pick: Texans
Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins (-12)
Miami needed a bye week to get things right and they will likely come out firing. The Raiders don’t have enough offensive firepower with Aidan O’Connell at quarterback to keep up.
Pick: Dolphins
New York Giants at Washington Commanders (-10)
This is a large spread, but the Giants haven’t been able to do much with their injuries at quarterback. Washington can put up some points in this game and cover.
Pick: Commanders
Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5) at Green Bay Packers
Green Bay is in the middle of a bad season and shouldn’t be picked against teams that are playoff contenders. The Chargers lost last week but can use this game to get back on track.
Pick: Chargers
Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars (-6.5)
The Jaguars looked lost against the 49ers in week 10. Hosting the Titans should get them a win, but the Titans can keep it within a field goal now that Will Levis gives them more of a threat at quarterback.
Pick: Titans
Sunday Evening
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers (-11.5)
San Francisco looked great after their bye week. Tampa Bay can keep it close early with their weapons, but eventually the talent on the 49ers will be able to win out and cover.
Pick: 49ers
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-7)
Buffalo has limped to a 5-5 record. The Jets will play good defense in this game, which will likely include causing turnovers. Buffalo’s defense will give up some big plays. The Bills will likely win, but the Jets can keep it close.
Pick: Jets
Seattle Seahawks (-1) at Los Angeles Rams
While the Rams are coming off a bye and Matt Stafford is returning, he may not be 100 percent. Seattle has a little bit more to play of than the Rams, as they are tied atop the NFC West.
Pick: Seahawks
Sunday Night Football
Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos (-2.5)
There just seems to be something different about this Vikings’ team. Whether it is Josh Dobbs bringing new life or listening to Creed, they look like they could make the playoffs. Denver will be on a short week and is playing better, but Minnesota is on a roll.
Pick: Vikings
Monday Night Football
Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs (-3)
The Eagles have been turning the ball over too much this season. Kansas City has a defense and running game that is better in years past, so when Patrick Mahomes does turn it on, they are going to be a tough team to beat.
Pick: Chiefs
