Asui Tsuyu, also known as Froppy, is finally receiving nerfs! She’s been an incredibly hot topic for the game, and on November 8, the My Hero Ultra Rumble Patch Notes addressed the powerful pick. And more to celebrate: Aizawa is receiving buffs! Though he was a new character, his overall strength and versatility was underwhelming, making for little reason to play the new hero.

But now that these changes from the My Hero Ultra Rumble Patch Notes are in, the meta should evolve once again. Do note, the patch notes did not address any bug fixes of any kind. It’s unclear whether none were actually addressed, or if the developers opted to simply leave out the information in the patch notes. Whatever the case, here are the full My Hero Ultra Rumble Patch notes.

Highlight of the Patch
My Hero Ultra Rumble: Aizawa Buffs
This character, as most consistent players know, released in a terrible state. He had a bunch of bugs, lacked damage, and was simply the worst character in the game for a while. His increase in Binding Cloth: Serpent should help his biggest weakness of a lack of damage.
Hopefully the developers addressed some of his bugs or added a little bit of quality of life changes to his kit as well. As of now, they’re not noted in the patch notes, and therefore play testing will be necessary. Aizawa struggled to combo his Beta, which was the kick in mid air. In addition, his Alpha would often just bug out. Nonetheless, the Aizawa buffs are very much welcome by the community.
My Hero Ultra Rumble: Froppy Nerfs
It seems Tsuyu Asui received nerfs to her damaging abilities. The decrease in number of shots for her alpha should affect her tremendously. Before the patch, she really did have way too much mobility, making it feel like it was impossible to properly hit her. With this change, her overall utility should decrease — allowing players to exploit the bigger gaps of opportunity presented.
In addition, the nerfs to her Beta’s damage means she won’t be completely destroying people’s guards in one tap anymore. This move was really a problem, since it knocked players in the air — allowing her to follow up with more damage immediately after. But now, with less damage, the combo should be far less menacing.
