Though the offical release of the game is still a ways away, Riot Games officially announced the launch of Project L’s demo. Debuting at Evo 2023, this will be the very first hands on experience typical players can have with the game. Some sponsored gamers have already had hands on experience, and they loved the game.
They stated “Just in case you missed it… We’re coming to Las Vegas! A Project L Demo will be playable at Evo 2023.”
According to Riot, there will be four champions available to play. Three of the champions are Ekko, Ahri, and Darius — the fourth one has been left as a mystery. It’s possible that it’ll be Katarina, Jinx, or Illaoi. after all, these three have been revealed to be joining the game eventually. But of course, this remains purely speculative.
As previously mentioned, no gamers have had the opportunity to have a hands on experience with the game, that is, until Evo 2023. The event is occurring on August 3 to August 6 at Michelob ULTRA Arena in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The building is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The game has been understood to be a tag team fighter for quite some time now. But Riot recently confirmed that it will, in fact, be a 2v2 team based fighting game. This means players can combo with their friends. For people who don’t have friends to play with, they can still play on their own. Instead of controlling one champ, they simply control both characters themselves.
There’s a lot of excitement regarding this mechanic, as it pushes the fighting game genre in a new direction. But only a hands on experience with the game during EVO 2023 will tell if the hype over the game is worth it.
