Back To The Lab Again
Although Mythic items will be going through some changes this Midseason, there are some positives that can be noted. Champions have had more flexibility in their first Legendary+ item purchase, There are a variety of high-affinity items that have resonated with players and the whole item system as a whole has been much more understandable.
Despite having a few pros, it was the community feedback that pushed for a much-needed change. With the current state of Mythical Items, they too frequently provided way too many different outputs, and they weren’t satisfying and tended to be highly complex, pattern-forming items. Ultimately the team decided to change things up to save the quality of the game.
The Changes
ADC Itemization will be one of the biggest changes being worked on this Midseason. There will be a new model implemented here the ADC Mythics will be Infinity Edge, Quickblades, Rageblade, and Galeforce. Kraken Slayer and Shieldbow will also be redesigned to fit into the Legendary items. Additionally, Statikk Shiv will be back in the system under a different stat profile, with Rageblade looking like its previous versions. ADCs are expected to be covered by at least one high-satisfaction Mythic item with this new change.Stay Connected
