The Arizona Cardinals are continuing to bring back their players after re-signing Kelvin Beachum on Monday. Both kicker Matt Prater and running back Corey Clement are re-signing with the Cardinals on a two and one-year deal, respectively.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Prater, who is 38 years old at time of writing, went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft. During the first two seasons of his career, he was relegated to four different practice squads before finally making a team in 2007. He’s spent the past two seasons with the Cardinals, and hit 88 percent of his field goals in 2022.
Clement began his career as an undrafted signing by the Eagles back in 2017. He spent four seasons there, and won Super Bowl 52 with the team during his rookie season. In 2021 he played mainly for the Cowboys, then bounced to the Ravens’ practice squad and Cardinals active roster during the 2022 season.
