The Minnesota Vikings will re-sign backup quarterback Nick Mullens according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Mullens, 27, has spent time with the 49ers, Browns and Vikings in his NFL career. During his time in the league, Mullens has passed for 5,085 yards, 27 touchdowns and 23 interceptions on 65.3 percent completion. Last season with the Vikings, Mullens had 224 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception on 84 percent completion.
With Mullens, the Vikings retain a backup for Kirk Cousins who has starting experience.
