Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Vonn Bell is signing with a new team. Bell has signed a new deal with the Carolina Panthers, the length and exact salary numbers of which are yet unknown at time of writing.
NFL Insider Dov Kleiman reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
Bell was a second round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. He played for four seasons in New Orleans before signing with the Bengals in 2020, making a Super Bowl with the team. He now joins his third NFL team.
In 2022, Bell played in 16 of 17 games, recording four interceptions, eight pass defenses, two forced fumbles, one sack and 77 combined tackles in a huge contract year. Cincinnati is likely moving off of Bell due to needing to clear money to sign quarterback Joe Burrow to a huge contract.
