Vic Fangio has been hired as the Miami Dolphins’ defensive coordinator the team announced on Wednesday.
Fangio, 64, is the former head coach of the Denver Broncos where he posted a 19-30 record over three seasons. This past season he was a consultant for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Before these past few seasons, Fangio was a coveted defensive coordinator and assistant. He made several stops, including stays at Chicago, San Francisco, Baltimore, Houston, Indianapolis, Carolina and New Orleans.
Fangio joins the Dolphins who ranked 24th in the league, allowing 24.1 points per game in 2022.
