After weeks of rumors, the LCS Free Agency period has officially begun. Teams have been working around the clock to put together the best roster they can. Now, the time for discussions is over. The LCS rosters are taking shape for the 2023 LCS Season. One of the moves officially confirmed by Immortals is that they will be signing Fleshy to start Support for next year. Here is the latest.

Even though Worlds 2022 was in NA, the LCS struggled mightily. Cloud9, 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses went a combined 3-15 during the group stages with only EG finishing above fourth due to a tiebreaker. Many had hoped things would be different but it felt like not only were the teams outclasses but that they were far behind on the meta.
Heading into 2023, teams will be looking to make changes that will hopefully propel them toward a title and a better time at Worlds.
This signing will certainly feel like it is a bit out of left field for Immortals. Fleshy comes from the Turkish League that will be absorbed into the LEC’s regional leagues. He was the best laning Support in the league and arguably the best Support in his league overall. He has a 6.8 KDA and plays a lot of engage champions. This could end up being a sneaky good signing if he can translate what he showed in Turkey to the LCS similarly to how players like BrokenBlade and Closer have in recent years.
It felt like nothing went right for Immortals last season. When looking at their roster, it seemed like a team that would at least make the playoffs, yet they struggled mightily. Keeping their young core on the top side and restarting from Mid lane down should make this team much more interesting to watch. They will likely be another Dark Horse squad heading into the 2023 season.
