What is the Overwatch 2 Ramattra Release Date?

The newest hero for Overwatch 2 was just revealed during the Overwatch League Grand Finals in Anaheim on November 4, 2022. Many had thought that it might be Mauga or the tank Omnic from Baptiste’s story. Well, some people were right. It is an Omnic, the new leader of the war again humanity. Ramattra will join as the next tank hero in Overwatch 2. Here is the Overwatch 2 Ramattra release date.

It looks as though Ramattra may be the big bad that Overwatch was potentially missing. Everyone knows that the new story is that the Omnics are starting war again, but many were wondering who was leading them. Well, it looks as though that answer is Ramattra. According to his Origin Story, which can be watched below, he tried to have peace with humanity. But now, he feels as though there is no possible way to have that.

Apparently, Ramatraa will float similarly to Sigma and will also be wielding a staff. Not much else was said about this new hero or really villain, coming to Overwatch 2. He certainly looks like he is going to be someone interesting and no just to the lore. Ramattra also will be a very imposing figure and frontline in the game.

He will be the first character that was not really leaked much either. There were some speculations that he or a character like him was coming but the name seemed to be a very closely guarded secret. Luckily for fans, they will be able to get their hands on this new tank very soon.

The Overwatch 2 Ramattra Release Date will coincide with Overwatch Season 2 on December 6, 2022. This will be the last hero released for some time as well. Overwatch fans got four new heroes in 2022 after a two-year-long hiatus. The next one will be coming with Season 4 which will likely be making its way to fans in the middle of April of 2023.
