The University of Colorado has decided to fire head coach Karl Dorrell after a 0-5 start to the season. Brett McMurphy reported the news.
Dorrell spent three seasons with the Buffaloes, compiling an 8-15 record over that time. His best season was the COVID-shortened 2020 season when the Buffaloes went 4-2 and played in the Alamo Bowl.
The Buffaloes take on Cal on October 15 after a bye in week 6. There has been no announcement on a potential interim coach at this time.
