The LCS 2022 season started with EG surprising everyone and rising to the top much earlier than anticipated. Now, everyone is playing catchup. Some teams made moves while others stayed put. It was another crazy week in the LCS as only one team went 2-0. With that here are the LCS 2022 Summer Split Week 5 Power Rankings.

10. DIG (2-7)
(Last Week: 8)
An 0-2 week will hurt not only in the standings but also in these LCS Power Rankings. Dignitas just are not a good team. Even with Gamsu having his best LCS game this year, the Shyvana was not enough. Things are not clicking with this Dignitas team and it is showing.
9. IMT (2-7)
(Last Week: 9)
Even though it was a pretty standard comp, Immortals played it well. They knew their scaling options and Lost and PoE played some of their best League of Legends in 2022. This team has talent on it, but they are still not there yet. Hopefully, this win over C9 can be the start of their run toward playoffs.
8. TSM (3-6)
(Last Week: 9)
The C9 game went as expected, Fudge top gapped and the rest of the team slowly faded away. Then FlyQuest drafted strangely and TSM’s young guns came out to play. SOul was very confident while Instinct got his first LCS Penta in only his second game. With Chime looking for plays, the young players playing well and Spica and Maple doing their thing, this TSM team may not be as bad as everyone thought.
7. GGS (4-5)
(Last Week: 8)
Another week and another Golden Guardians doing exactly what is expected. They beat the teams below them and occasionally win a game against a team just above them. It is hard to believe that a stronger bot lane would propel this team much higher. In either case, Golden Guardians are a solid if unspectacular team that will continue to be the LCS gatekeepers.
6. CLG (5-4)
(Last Week: 2)
CLG finally played the top teams in the LCS and the results were about what was expected. Aside from the win over Evil Geniuses, CLG are looking like a good but not great team. It is a bummer for CLG fans who were very excited to see them at the top but at least they are in last. CLG are well on their way to making playoffs. Now the second round-robin is about winning enough games to be top six and get double-elimination.
5. FLY (5-4)
(Last Week: 7)
A strange loss to TSM knocks down what should be a team on the up and up. Toucouille deserves more attention for an MVP award and Johnsun is really starting to find his confidence. There is no doubt that FlyQuest are still a top team. They need to finish the second half strong but should be in contention for a Worlds spot.
4. C9 (4-5)
(Last Week: 3)
They are 4-2 with the main roster and that would easily put them into a top tier spot. Even with the random throw against Immortals this team is very strong. Jensen has looked like a bit of a weak point and Blaber still has his games like the IMT one. That said, this team really is very strong and no one should look forward to playing them.
3. TL (6-3)
(Last Week: 4)
There is nothing wrong with losing to EG, they are scorching hot right now. That said, it was a pretty paltry performance for a team expected to be in the Finals. There may not be a more heavily criticized 6-3 team in the world right now but everyone has high expectations for them. They will need another strong second half to try and get that top two seeding and a bye in the playoffs.
2. 100T (6-3)
(Last Week: 2)
A loss to FlyQuest and there are still many questions about this team. That said they quickly took care of CLG. 100 Thieves certainly have a switch that they can turn on at any time. When they do, they are scary good. Even while not competing for the top spot right now, 100 Thieves can still beat anyone.
1. EG (8-1)
(Last Week: 1)
What else is there to say? Evil Geniuses are the best team in the LCS right now and it is really not very close.
