Among the turmoil of perhaps losing both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, the Nets have re-signed two of their own players in free agency. Nic Claxton and Patty Mills are both re-signing with Brooklyn on two-year contracts. Mills will be given $14.5 million, while Claxton will be given $20 million.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.

Claxton was the 31st pick in the 2019 NBA Draft out of Georgia, and has remained with the Nets since being drafted. He was a role-player last season, playing in 47 games but starting just 19. Claxton also had a career high in points and rebounds per game last season.
Mills won an NBA Championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014, and was a member of the Spurs for 10 seasons. Last season was his first with the Nets, and he played a significant role in the offense, starting more games and eating up more minutes than he ever had in his career previously.
