The 2021-22 NFL season is just past its halfway point. Bye weeks have been taking place the past few weeks. This means those wide receivers like Cooper Kupp and Courtland Sutton will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the Fantasy Football Week 11 wide receiver rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting WR1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
High WR2- a player who may isn’t likely to carry a lineup that week, but has the ability to have a breakout game and is teetering between WR1 and WR2 category.
Starting WR2- a player who should be started in most lineups and should reach their point projection. This player is started is because of their consistency and moderately high floor
Low WR2- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not. Their production may not be pretty or win a person their lineup but the production is consistent enough to make a fantasy owner comfortable starting them.
Flex- a player who could float around the territory of being benched, but is started due to the potential to play better than their point projection. However, this player has the potential to flop and causes a fantasy team to lose if he has a bad game.
Deeper League Flex- a player who has starting value in deeper leagues. There are enough reasons to leave this player on the bench, but their upside makes them an attractive option. Desperate times may call for a player like this to be inserted into starting lineups.
Upside Player- a player who is boom or bust. This player can exceed expectations in a given week or could flop and be the reason why someone lost their fantasy matchup.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
Green Bay Packers Wide Receivers: WR1 Davante Adams & WR74 Allen Lazard
Davante Adams was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a shoulder injury. Also, Allen Lazard didn’t practice Wednesday with a shoulder issue. Adams and Lazard are expected to play with this weekend against Minnesota. However, if they were both not to play this week Randall Cobb would be. a top-30 wide receiver this week against the Minnesota Vikings.
If Adams is out and Lazard is active then Randall Cobb moves up to WR23 between Antonio Brown and Michael Pittman Jr. Lazard would then move up to WR58 between Marcus Johnson and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
If Adams is active and Lazard is not then Randall Cobb would move up to WR60 between Danny Amendola and Byron Pringle.
WR3 Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers
Deebo Samuel was limited in practice Wednesday with a shin issue. if Samuel is inactive against the Jacksonville Jaguars then Brandon Aiyuk would move up to WR18 between Tee Higgins and D.J. Moore.
WR12 D.K. Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks
D.K. Metcalf didn’t practice Wednesday with a lingering foot injury. He is expected to continue to keep playing through it. However, if Metcalf doesn’t play Freddie Swain and Dee Eskridge becomes possible upside plays this week and interesting DFS options.
WR15 Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, Baltimore Ravens
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown didn’t practice Wednesday with a thigh issue. If Brown was to miss this game against the Chicago Bears then Rashod Bateman would move up to WR17 between DeAndre Hopkins and Tee Higgins. Devin Duvernay would join the list at WR56 between Kalif Raymond and Nelson Agholor. Then Sammy Watkins would also join the list at WR68 between Randall Cobb and Mecole Hardman.
WR17 DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals
DeAndre Hopkins is dealing with a hamstring injury for the past few weeks. It is uncertain when Hopkins will return to the Cardinals. If he does not play against the Seattle Seahawks then Christian Kirk moves up to WR24 between Michael Pittman Jr. and Terry McLaurin. A.J. Green would move up to WR42 between Jamal Agnew and Corey Davis. Rondale Moore would move up to WR63 between Nico Collins and T.Y. Hilton.
WR21 Sterling Shepard, New York Giants
Sterling Shepard is dealing with a quad injury that held him out of New York’s game before their bye last week. If Shepard was to miss this game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers then Kadarius Toney would move up to WR27 between Rashod Bateman and Christian Kirk. Both Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton retain their value in this scenario.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receivers: WR23 Antonio Brown
Antonio Brown is continuing to nurse an ankle injury. Tyler Johnson has filled Brown’s void in the Buccaneers depth chart. If Brown is out against the New York Giants this week then Johnson moves up to WR50 between Bryan Edwards and Tyler Boyd.
Washington Football Team Wide Receivers: WR25 Terry McLaurin & WR73 Curtis Samuel
Terry McLaurin was limited in practice Wednesday with a shoulder injury and Curtis Samuel is still dealing with a groin injury. If both are out against the Carolina Panthers then DeAndre Carter becomes the WR55 between Kalif Raymond and Nelson Agholor.
If McLaurin is out and Samuel is active then Carter would move up to WR62 between T.Y. Hilton and Russell Gage. Samuel would then move up to WR70 between Olamide Zaccheaus and Deonte Harris.
If McLaurin is active and Samuel is inactive then McLaurin’s value does not change. Then DeAndre Carter would take over Samuel’s spot at WR73.
WR36 Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns
Jarvis Landry didn’t practice Wednesday with a knee injury. He is expected to play against the Detroit Lions however if he does not then Donovan Peoples-Jones would move up to WR40 between Robby Anderson and Jamal Agnew. Rashard Higgins and Anthony Schwartz would become interesting DFS options this week.
WR37 Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers
Chase Claypool missed last week’s game with a toe injury. If he missed this week’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers then Diontae Johnson retains his value. Ray-Ray McCloud would move up to WR59 between Danny Amendola and Byron Pringle. James Washington would move up to WR64 between Russell Gage and Tre’Quan Smith
Chicago Bears Wide Receivers: WR38 Darnell Mooney & WR49 Allen Robinson
Darnell Mooney was limited in practice Wednesday with a foot injury. Allen Robinson didn’t practice Wednesday with a hamstring issue. If both are out veteran Marquise Goodwin would likely be the number one receiver over Damiere Byrd and Jakeem Grant. But it would be ill-advised to start a Bears receiver this week in that scenario.
If Mooney is inactive and Robinson is active then Robinson would move up to WR43 between Cole Beasley and Kenny Golladay.
If Mooney is active and Robinson is inactive then Mooney would take a slight boost to WR37 between Jarvis Landry and Chase Claypool.
