Nose tackle Damion Square has now agreed to his fourth contract extension with the Los Angeles Chargers. He began his tenure with the Bolts when they were still in San Diego. He was claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs in 2014, beginning his long relationship with the team.
CBS’ Chris Hayre reported the re-signing via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
Damion Square is back. He’s appeared in 65 games (23 starts) for the Chargers since 2015. https://t.co/y6qw06qoAw

During his six years with the Chargers, Square has played in 65 games, starting in 23 of them. He has collected 5.5 total sacks over his career (which includes 10 games with the Eagles), along with 100 combined tackles and two fumble recoveries.
Square has shifted from nose tackle to right defensive end and back during his time in the NFL. The former Alabama standout has clearly found a home in Los Angeles, but never a contract worth more than two years. The length and amount of money his newest contract is not readily available at time of writing.
