McCaffrey rushed 287 yards for 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2019. He also added 116 receptions for 1,005 yards through the air, along with four more touchdowns. The 15 rushing touchdowns were second-most in the NFL, to the Packers’ Aaron Jones.
His huge numbers contributed to the first Pro Bowl and All-Pro appearances of his career. McCaffrey also was considered for MVP due to his production.
In 2020, he will have to contend with another new quarterback after being paired with Cam Newton for most of his career, who will be on another team next year. He also caught passes from quarterbacks Will Grier and Kyle Allen in then-coach Ron Rivera’s attempt to fill Newton’s spot.
