The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired big man Andre Drummond from Detroit. A second round pick, Brandon Knight and John Henson are being given to the Pistons in his place.
Yahoo! Sports’ Chris Haynes broke the news via Twitter on Thursday.

Drummond is a veteran center who carried on the legacy of tough Pistons big men. In return they get returning G Brandon Knight and a replacement big man in Henson.
The pick will either be the one acquired from the Warriors, or Cleveland’s 2023 second round selection. Whichever the lesser-valued of the two selections turns out to be will be sent to Detroit.
This is an odd move, considering the Cavs’ rebuilding status, but it does help Detroit by adding shooting depth and getting rid of Drummond’s lack of shooting ability.
