The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. The bowl season schedule allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2019 Texas Bowl.
Oklahoma State Cowboys Draft Prospects
Chuba Hubbard, RB
Hubbard is just a redshirt sophomore, but has done enough to already be considered one of the top running backs in the 2020 NFL Draft. In his time at Oklahoma State, Hubbard has 2,676 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns. This season, he rushed for 1,936 yards and 21 touchdowns.
He is 6-foot-1 and 207 pounds, which is a good size for an NFL running back. Hubbard should be a candidate to be selected on the second day of the draft.
Projected Draft Range: Second round-fourth round
A.J. Green, CB
Green has been an impact player for three seasons in Stillwater. In his career, he has 146 total tackles, six interceptions and 21 passes defended. In 2019, Green has 48 total tackles, one interception and five passes defended.
He has decent size for a corner at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. His experience and talent should have him be selected in the middle rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Projected Draft Range: Third round-fifth round
*WR Tylan Wallace is out for this game with a torn ACL, but would be a second-third round pick if he declares.
Other notable draft-eligible players:Â WR Jordan McCray, OT Teven Jenkins, OG/C Johnny Wilson, OG/C Marcus Keys, DT Kyle Junior, LB Calvin Bundage, LB Kevin Henry, LB Amen Ogbongbemiga, CB Rodarius Williams, S Tre Sterling, S Malcolm Rodriguez
Texas A&M Aggies Draft Prospects
Quartney Davis, WR
Davis is one of a few wide receiver prospects for the Aggies this season. He has 93 receptions for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns in his career. This season, he has 48 receptions for 568 yards and four touchdowns for the Aggies.
At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Davis will fit right in at the NFL level. Davis is a candidate to be selected in the later rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Projected Draft Range: Fifth round-Seventh round
Kendrick Rogers, WR
Rogers has a lot of the physical tools desired in an NFL Draft prospect, but the production hasn’t always been there for him. He has 68 receptions for 786 yards and seven touchdowns in his time as an Aggie. In 2019, he has 30 receptions for 351 yards and two touchdowns.
He has excellent size at 6-foot-4 and 204 pounds. While his lack of production will be a concern, Rogers will also be in contention for a late-round selection.
Projected Draft Range: Fifth round-seventh round
*DT Justin Madubuike is sitting out for this game to prepare for the NFL Draft. He is projected to be a first-third round pick.
Other notable draft-eligible players:Â QB Kellen Mond, WR Jhamon Ausbon, OT Dan Moore, OT Carson Green, OG/C Colton Prater, Edge Michael Clemmons, LB Anthony Hines, CB Myles Jones, CB Elijah Blades, S Larry Pryor
