Phase 3 of the National PUBG League Is flying by as teams are battling hard to stay on top. With only two weeks remaining, some teams are giving themselves the pushes they need to finish out the phase strong, while others are falling behind. Games are coming down to the thinnest finishes with so many teams being in good form. With Phase 3 getting close to its finish, week three of competition is vital. Who will be on top?
Day One
The first day of week three kicked off with a rare sight in the National PUBG League. Endemic claimed the win with only one kill overcoming the second and third place teams, SpaceStation and eUnited, who had 16 and four kills. The second match then went to Tempo Storm who came out hungry for a win and put 14 kills on the board. PlayerOne almost caught up to them, but they weren’t able to overcome Tempo Storm’s charge.
The third match of the day went to Riot Squad who put up an impressive 11 kills. PlayerOne finished in second again as they push harder and harder to claim their first Chicken Dinner of the weekend. Tempo Storm then bounced right back and took match four with six kills. Tempo Storm have found their momentum yet again and it looks like they are going to be difficult to stop. Envy then got their first Chicken Dinner of the weekend with a solid 12-kill win over The Rumblers who were looking to earn some much-needed points.
Day one of week three ended with a win for Lazarus with 10 kills. Tempo Storm almost caught another win, finishing in third. Will anyone be able to overcome their rampage in day two?
Day Two
With day two beginning, Tempo Storm came out of the gates with yet another win. They are setting themselves apart from the competition fast. Their win was followed by a Chicken Dinner for VanQuish, who were recently created from Vicious Gaming’s rebranding. They have been struggling, so this win brought some light to their campaign. The third match of day two then went to PlayerOne, who have been performing well all weekend. This 11-kill win helped them pick up more momentum in their fight for the top.
Envy put another win under their belt in the fourth match with seven kills. Even with another team winning, Tempo Storm were still hot on their trail with a third-place finish. Genesis then picked up their first win of the weekend with a huge 15-kill game. This match, alongside all of their other top tier performances this weekend, made them the second highest point team in week three. Then finally Tempo Storm picked up their fourth win of week three in the final match. Their 12 kills just pushed them even farther ahead of the competition.
Tempo Storm Above Them All
The clear stand out this week in the National PUBG League is Tempo Storm. They amassed a huge 136 points, dwarfing all of the other teams from the weekend. Genesis were below them taking away 87 points from week three. It seems like Tempo Strom may be on the way to winning yet another phase of the NPL.
Tempo Storm sit on top of the National PUBG League with a massive 300 points, followed by Lazarus with 247, Envy with 237 and Riot Squad with 235. Will anyone be able to topple Tempo Storm? Tune in next week for more coverage of the National PUBG League.
