The Houston Texans have traded two first-round picks and a second-round pick to the Miami Dolphins for offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills. The deal was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who noted that some Houston players will be going to Miami as well.
Update: Houston will also receive a 2020 fourth-round pick and a 2021 sixth-round pick. Miami will also get tackle Julian Davenport and cornerback Johnson Bademosi.
So here’s the major components of the deal as of now, but it will be bigger….
Texans get: OT Laremy Tunsil
Dolphins get: two first-round picks and one second-round pick.
And there will be more involved.

The Texans were active this weekend, as they traded away Jadeveon Clowney, traded for Carlos Hyde and now have acquired Tunsil and Stills. Tunsil will give Watson some much-needed protection, but he needs to be signed to a long-term deal. Stills will add yet another weapon to go with DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, Keke Coutee and more.
Miami is clearly in rebuild mode now as they acquire first-round picks for their future. There was reportedly going to be a lot of upset players if Tunsil was traded. The Dolphins will likely be in play for the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Drat.
