In the recent Wild Rift patch 4.2 preview, Riot revealed new champions soon to release in the mobile game. These champions are Ornn, Volibear, and Swain. As Wild Rift new champions tend to follow the release trend of two at a time, followed by a singular release, Ornn and Volibear are likely to release first. Then, Swain will release separately thereafter.
Since the patch officially releases on May 26 at 00:01 UTC, both Ornn and Volibear will release on that date as well. Expect an event celebrating their launch, allowing players to eventually unlock each champion by accomplishing mission rewards.
In addition, the new champions Ornn and Volibear mark the return of a Wild Rift exclusive feature: Nemesis Duels. As of now, the developers haven’t revealed what exactly makes this feature trigger. But the winner of the nemesis duel, if following the previous trends, will likely earn a small stat buff, helping snowball the game’s momentum forward.

As for Swain, he’ll release likely further into the patch schedule, likely during Wild rift patch 4.2a or Wild Rift patch 4.2b. This would place his release date on June 16 or July 7, pending on which patch the devs decide to release him in.
Wild Rift Sivir leaked
On top of the official reveal of the three beefy champions, a marksmen was actually leaked by reputable dataminer, Chowz. According to the leak, Sivir is debuting in Wild Rift. Keep in mind, since this is a leak, the champion’s release in Wild Rift has not been confirmed. But Chowz’s leaks have been very accurate, as he discovered the Ice Dragon far before the developers revealed it in their patch preview.
