Catching legendaries in the post-game of Pokemon Legends Arceus stands as one of the most engaging activities for completionists. There’s something about domesticating and taming deities of their realm that provides a great sense of accomplishment. Tornadus is one of three genies which serve as prerequisites for the request, Incarnate Forces of Hisui. To help players out, this guide will go over how to catch Tornadus in Pokemon Legends Arceus

To be able to accept Incarnate Forces of Hisui, players must finish Seeking the Remaining Plates. In essence, they must finish the fight against Volo alongside the encounter with Giratina. Players must have already caught Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie, Heatran, Cresselia, and Regigias in the post-game. For players who haven’t reached this stage in the post game, check the link above for more information.
Go to Jubilife Village, and talk to Cogita in the Galaxy Hall. This begins a cut scene, after which the Request begins. The mission requires players to catch Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus, then complete their pokedex entries.
To find Tornadus, go to the Alabaster Icelands nearby the Bonechill Wastes. But one big caveat, Tornadus only appears during a snowstorm. So prepare to camp and rest until the weather conditions are right. Keep in mind, a snowstorm requires both snow and wind icons to show up in the weather indicator.
Tornadus begins the fight enraged, creating a wall of tornados that prevents battle encounters. With any enraged pokemon, make sure to dodge roll its attacks. Then, players will need to stun Tornadus by throwing balls at it. This will create a window of opportunity for the player to follow up with a pokemon throw, triggering the battle.
Torandus is Flying type, so plan accordingly.

In Conclusion
Unlike the other mainline pokemon games, Pokemon Legends Arceus allows players to reattempt Legendary encounters if the player accidentally kills them. In other words, don’t worry too much about saving beforehand, and perfecting the catch on the first try. Returning to Jubilife City and then heading back to the area should respawn Tornadus. There’s a ton more to do outside of attempting to catch the post-game Legendaries. Hopefully, players are enjoying their play throughs of Pokemon Legends Arceus as much as the Staff members here at The Game Haus.

This has been the case since gen 4. You would have to beat the pokemon league again, but they would still respawn if you took them down accidentally.
