This Pokemon Unite Cinderace guide will show players how to be deadly on the one of the strongest attackers in the game. The pick definitely experienced its ups and downs, with so many patch updates tinkering with its kit. But thanks to the buffs to Blaze Kick, the pick is back on top as a solo carrying menace. Playing as a hyper carry ADC that deals amazing damage over time, Cinderace is arguably the best ADC in Pokemon Unite at the moment. Building Cinderace properly is essential to securing victory. So to help players experience success on the pick, here is a Pokemon Unite Cinderace Guide.

Items
This item is broken on Cinderace. Since the Pokemon constantly spams abilities, Cinderace makes full use of the items additional damage.
Muscle band is an absolute must on Cinderace. Do NOT play Cinderace without it. Upgrading Muscle Band rewards more damage on hit, alongside faster attack speed. And the more basic attacks Cinderace can throw out, the better.
Critical strikes are the bread and butter of Cinderace builds. Maximizing the chance of crits ensures more damage output. But of course, taking scope lens also means sacrificing survivability. Since Razor Claw also provides critical strike, switch scope lens out for other items if need be.
Alternative Held Items
This will protect Cinderace when players attempt to make scores, allowing for stronger follow up to push leads. The item itself is incredibly gimmicky, resulting in fantastic plays for those who understand how to abuse the item. But be warned, the item definitely has a learning curve. In addition, Score Shield grants absurd amounts of HP when upgraded, granting Cinderace extra survivability stats.
Buddy Barrier is a fantastic item on its own. Providing amazing health stats and utility for the team, taking the item as a third option is never a bad move. Between Score Shield and Buddy Barrier, either item helps fill Cinderace’s biggest weakness: fragility.
This item is a bit of a mixed bag of nuts. Score Shield and Buddy Barrier have better actives, but Focus Band helps Cinderace more when it is but a small Scorbunny. But keep in mind, Cinderace is more of a late game pick than an early game. An item targeted towards the early game might not be as optimal (Buddy Barrier, without a doubt, is a better item for the late game).
Last but kind of least is Float Stone. Love it or hate it, the item definitely still provides extra umph for attackers. With the most base attack in the game for a held item, without the necessity to rely on critical strikes, Cinderace definitely benefits from the item. But since Razor Claw and Muscle band are absolute necessities, Float Stone sits as the last priority of an alternative.
Battle Item
Cinderace is a very safe character, but when facing someone like Zeraora, Eject Button is a life saver.
As a damage carry, Cinderace also benfits from the extra damage output provided from this battle item.
Recommended Moves
Blaze Kick
Since the most recent update, Blaze Kick allows Cinderace to not only lock down a specific target, but also reposition with great efficiency. This esentially allows Cinderace to perform its job as a hyper carry ADC very effectively, since it can now deal with huge threats on the enemy team without having to risk its own life. Before, Blaze Kick didn’t allow players to reposition to wherever they liked. But by adding this ability to the move, utilizing Blaze Kick doesn’t keep Cinderace stuck to a specific spot. In fact, the repositioning allows the player to choose the safest position, which is huge for team fights.
Flame Charge
Okay, Flame Charge and Feint are both great options. Flame Charge is listed here as the “recommended” move because of the synergy it has with Blaze Kick. By casting Flame Charge right after Blaze Kick’s usage, Cinderace can actually cancel its repositioning mechanic, which allows for more damage dealt within a specific time frame. Now, why is this important? Well, it essentially increases Cinderace’s total possible DPS, which could make a huge difference during key moments of a team fight. Now, time to discuss its alternative moves.
Alternative moves
Pyro Ball isn’t necessarily bad. In fact, it’s still pretty good. But Blaze Kick’s repositioning mechanic is just too important to leave out, especially in the most recent meta. Pokemon Unite games are generally full of so many different threats that love to burst down pokemon such as Cinderace. Therefore, preparing for such plays is super important to succeeding on the pick. Another key distinguishing factor is that Blaze Kick doesn’t require pin point aiming, while Pyro Ball does. One may even argue that Pyro Ball almost always misses when shot from afar, because of Unite’s poor aiming system. The move only really guarantee hit when using it point blank.
Feint is a great move. Providing invulnerability temporarily, the move provides Cinderace incredible insurance. Honestly, for those looking for a more defensive optimization, take Feint over Flame Charge. Flame Charge has a lower cooldown, alongside provides more damage as a whole. And as a damage dealer, maximizing damage within a given time frame is really important. But how can Cinderace deal damage if it dies beforehand?
In Conclusion
Be sure to utilize this Pokemon unite Cinderace Guide to assist in climbing the ranked ladder. Keep in mind, although the pick is phenomenally strong, it isn’t without its counters. The worst threat for a Cinderace player is falling behind through dying. So, be sure to play for the mid to late game, focusing the laning phase to scale up into its final evolution. After doing so, attempt to stay alive as long as possible during team fights, even if it means letting allies die for Cinderace’s stead. That is the burden of playing a hyper carry ADC.
