So far this offseason, a few players have decided to announce their free agency on their own terms, like Yeonjoon “ArK” Hong and Nikola “sleepy” Andrews. However, both Sleepy and ArK have stated that there is still a chance for them to return to the Washington Justice for Season 3. The Spitfire are the first team to officially announce that they have decided to completely part ways with their players.
Some fans might be shocked at the release of Birdring, but his absence was extremely noticeable during the playoffs. Birdring made a name for himself last season as one of the best hitscan players in the league. This season, he, alongside many other DPS players, suffered under GOATS. However, the Spitfire remained one of the better teams in the league despite their struggles with adapting to the meta. London did manage to make it to playoffs in the end but they were knocked out early by the New York Excelsior.
All three players have an abundance of talent, and it will be interesting to see where they go from here.
