On June 2, the Florida Mayhem announced that they are releasing DPS player, Kevyn “TviQ” Lindström from the roster in this tweet:
Thank you, @MisfitsTviQuE.
Yours has been a historic run, full of trials and triumphs. Since joining @MisfitsGG in 2016, you’ve contributed to some of our brightest moments as a franchise – and for that, we will always be grateful. We wish you nothing but the best. pic.twitter.com/lRLn9pURLX

The Swedish DPS player is a veteran of the league. He has been a part of Misfits, Florida Mayhem’s parent organization, since 2016. Prior to that, TviQ was a pro TF2 player and was a distinguished scout and sniper in that game.
The End of an Era
TviQ is the last original member of the Florida Mayhem team from Season 1 of the Overwatch League. With their transition to a full Korean roster in the works for some time, this announcement is one that fans have expected for some time.
TviQ shared his views on the situation in a tweet immediately after the news broke. It seems he will be taking some much-needed rest and wished the “new team” the best in the future.
on a more serious note ill be looking forward to serious rest until my next opportunity whether, It has been a unfortunate situation ive been put in and i hope the new team can bring mayhem more wins in future.
so stay tuned fans!
