Late Monday night, Chris “HuK” Loranger announced the acquisition of DPS Tae-hui “Jerry” Min from Meta Athena.
During HuK’s live AMA session on Twitch, he had teased two announcements during the stream. The first was the official announcement of singing Sang-min “Myunbong” Seo – an acquisition that was unofficially announced but confirmed earlier this week. The second was the surprise announcement of Meta Athena’s DPS player, Jerry.
For our second announcement of the evening, say hello to @Jerry__ow!

Jerry was an off-tank for X6-Gaming, where he had helped the team place 1st in the Korean Open Division. Once he joined Meta Athena, he swapped to DPS and lead the team to a 2nd place finish in Korean Trials. Although Meta Athena stumbled a bit during the regular Korean Contenders season, Jerry looks to impress OWL fans along side Kelsey “Colourhex” Birse.
During the stream, HuK also mentioned Boston will be staying mixed this upcoming season, explaining a little more about keeping two western players, Colourhex and Cameron “Fusions” Bosworth.
