As the Washington Justice slowly reveal their 2023 roster, fans are finally beginning to see all the pieces to the new Justice puzzle. On Saturday March 4, the Justice announced the return of Benjamin “BenBest” Dieulafait to the Overwatch League as their newest tank player. The news didn’t stop their however, as the following day the Justice announced the signing of Huy “MirroR” Trinh. Based on the playtime of MirroR last season it appears as though he will be helping BenBest cover the bases in the tank role.
MirroR previously spent two years with the Los Angeles Gladiators until he was released following the 2021 season. MirroR eventually found a team part way through the 2022 campaign when the Vancouver Titans brought him on. On both teams MirroR showcased his hyper-flex play style by playing every single role for the team during official matches. With the Glads, MirroR proved to be the necessary piece to fill the holes in the team’s character pool. Whether it was tank, DPS or support, MirroR found a way to bring value to the roster. The Justice are hoping he can be their jack-of-all-trades once more in 2023.

A surprising return from BenBest will have all eyes on the Washington Justice this season. BenBest was last seen playing for the Paris Eternal in 2020. After being dropped following the 2020 season, BenBest took time to compete in Contenders in 2021 and 2022. As a member of Team Peps, alongside now Justice Head Coach Zouheir “GetAmazed” Baba, he lead the team to back to back finals appearances. With a new shot at OWL, BenBest will look to be the tip of the spear for a revamped Washington Justice roster.
