Meyer has had great success at the collegiate level, but has never been an NFL head coach. In 17 years at the Division I level, Meyer went 183-72. He spent time at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State. With Florida and Ohio State, Meyer was able to win three national Championships.
Jacksonville fired Doug Marrone after he won just one game this season. Meyer will leave his job at Fox Sports to take over a team that has a lot of cap space and draft capital to improve, including the number one overall pick.
