The San Fransisco 49ers drafted Nick Bosa second overall in 2019. He had a huge impact on the 49ers team racking up 9 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, an interception, and a forced fumble. But what the stats can’t show is how he dominated offenses and was at times the best player on the field even though he was only 21.
In his first season Bosa was voted to the Pro Bowl, won Defensive Rookie of the Year, and Rookie of the Year. Many viewed him to be the favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year in his second season.
Bosa is added to a long list of 49ers stars that have been injured early in the season. including Jimmy Garoppolo, Deebo Samuel, Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman, George Kittle, Richard Sherman, Dee Ford, and Solomon Thomas.
