The New England Patriots have added another receiver to the team this season in hopes of making another run at the Super Bowl. On Tuesday morning, the Patriots sent a second-round pick to the Atlanta Falcons for Mohamed Sanu. Ian Rapoport was the first to report the trade.

New England has already had a focus on improving their wide receiver corps, as they acquired Antonio Brown, who they later cut due to sexual assault allegations.
Now, the Patriots will pair Mohamed Sanu with Julian Edelman to give Tom Brady at least two very reliable targets.
Sanu, 30, played four seasons in Cincinnati to start his career. He then moved on to Atlanta for the last three and a half seasons. Over his career, Sanu has 377 receptions for 4,300 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns.
