Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is being placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. The Cowboys will be without the (likely) Defensive Rookie of the Year in Week 18 against the playoff-bound Philadelphia Eagles.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

If Parsons is vaccinated he could return to the field after being asymptomatic and presenting two negative tests within a 24-hour period. If he is unvaccinated, he will have to undergo a mandatory 10-day isolation period from the team in addition to the previous two criteria.
Parsons was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. In his first season, he has earned a Pro Bowl nod and discussions for Defensive Player of the Year, along with an almost assured Defensive Rookie of the Year win. He has 13 sacks on the season, 84 combined tackles (64 solo) and three forced fumbles.
