The New Orleans Saints have traded cornerback Marshon Lattimore to the Washington Commanders according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. New Orleans will receive a third, fourth and sixth-round pick in return. Washington will receive fifth-round pick with Lattimore.
Lattimore, 28, is a four-time Pro Bowler in his eight-year career. This season, he has 30 total tackles and two passes defended.
The Commanders needed help at corner, as they don’t have one on the roster that ranks in the top 50 of PFF’s player grades.
New Orleans has fired Dennis Allen after losing the last seven games, so this trade could signify a rebuild coming.
