Former All-Pro safety Eric Weddle has decided to retire according to a post on his Twitter account.

Weddle, 35, was a five-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler. He spent nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers, three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and one season with the Los Angeles Rams. The safety registered 1,179 tackles and 29 interceptions in his career.
It is a few years off, but Weddle will be a candidate for the Pro Football Hall of Fame when his time comes.
