Dillion Salva, an ex-NFL tight end shares how his experience with two different teams, now plays a part in training top-tier athletes.
Salva’s experience with the NFL has athletes within the football community seeking his help with training for the next level. Being a former pro athlete himself, at the collegiate and pro level, Salva says he knows exactly how to train for football.
“I was only with two teams for a short amount of time, but I’m still a former NFL player and that’s something not many can say. So it definitely gives clients, especially in the football world, a reason to trust me.”
One of Salva’s current clients is quarterback Anthony Brown, of the Oregon Ducks. Brown played for Boston College in 2019 but missed the rest of the season due to a knee injury. He now works with Salva to rehab and strengthen his leg.
“I’ve mastered getting people the exact results they’re in need of. Like Anthony, Oregon’s QB. He’s had an ACL surgery on each knee so he wanted to focus on strengthening his legs. So all of our workouts consist of exercises that will increase strength and muscle stamina but not put any unnecessary strain on his knees,” Salva told The Game Haus.
Salva also trains rapper Willie Junior Maxwell ll, better known as Fetty Wap. He was known as the ‘weight room warrior” when he trained in the NFL, only recently transitioning to bodybuilding and personal training.
“The weight room is my passion. And I just knew with my genuine love for it I’d be able to help anyone out,” Salva added.
