The Carolina Panthers have agreed to a three-year, $19.5 million deal with free agent defensive tackle Shy Tuttle according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tuttle, 27, is a four-year vet who spent all of his time in the league with the Saints. He has registered 143 total tackles, four sacks and nine tackles for loss in his career. In 2022, he had 49 total tackles, two sacks and one tackle for loss.
In Carolina, Tuttle will join a defensive line that features Derrick Brown and Brian Burns. Tuttle is the first free agent that the Panthers have signed with Frank Reich as head coach.
