The Eagles lost a veteran defensive back for whom they traded in 2019. Safety Andrew Sendejo is signing a one-year $2.25 million deal with the Cleveland Browns.
The NFL’s Mike Garofolo reported the news via Twitter on Friday.

Sendejo has played for three teams since entering the league in 2010. Most notably, he spent eight-and-a-half seasons in Minnesota before being traded to the Eagles last year. The Eagles were strapped for players as they had one of the most injury-ridden seasons in recent memory.
He played in 15 games last season, starting in three. Sendejo hauled in three interceptions, defended four passes and collected one sack. He also had 45 combined tackles in 2019. His three picks were a career high.
A veteran on the back end of the defense is exactly what the Browns need. How much playing time Sendejo will see is to be determined.
