1. Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State notched a big win on the road over Penn State. There were plenty of questions about how Ohio State’s offensive line would do in this game and they played well. A lot of eyeballs were on Donovan Jackson, who kicked out from guard to left tackle. He did allow a sack to Abdul Carter, but played well in a new position for him.
Jackson showed his great strength and ability to anchor in this game. Although it is clear that he is better as a guard, he held up well against the athleticism of Penn State’s pass rushers. His good play at tackle is encouraging and Jackson is still considered a possible first or second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
2. Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State Nittany Lions
Penn State suffered their first loss of the season to Ohio State this week. Their offense moved the ball decently, but couldn’t find the end zone. The times when the offense looked to be threatening, tight end Tyler Warren was involved. By the end of the game, Warren had four rushes for 47 yards and three catches for 47 yards.
Warren showed his athleticism for his size in this game. He was able to pick up yards after the ball was in his hands, in a unique way for a tight end. There was also a nice contested catch near the sideline that he hauled in, showing his focus and body control. With his good play this season, Warren could end up going in the first roun of the 2025 NFL Draft.
3. Josaiah Stewart, EDGE, Michigan Wolverines
Michigan had a tough loss against Oregon to add to their disappointing season. Their defense still has some talent on it, even if star cornerback Will Johnson was out. Edge rusher Josaiah Stewart has elevated his sock this season. In this game, he finished two tackles, but did suffer an injury during the game
Stewart didn’t have his best game, but the injury could’ve contributed to that. He still has had a good enough season to raise his stock. As an undersized edge rusher, his athleticism and technique has stood out. His injury will need to be managed, but Stewart has put himself in play to be one of the better edge rushers in the 2025 NFL Draft.
4. Josh Conerly, OT, Oregon Ducks
Oregon stayed undefeated this week after handling Michigan pretty easily in the Big House. The Ducks were able to pull away and a lot of that is thanks to their offensive line neutralizing a good Michigan defensive line. Josh Conerly did well protecting Dillon Gabriel’s blindside, while also doing well in the run game.
Conerly playing well just adds to his draft stock. He has shown the ability to move well, helping him get to the second level as a run blocker. This also helps him mirror edge rushers. With how he played against some good Michigan defensive linemen, Conerly could end up being a first or second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
5. Max Hairston, CB, Kentucky Wildcats
Kentucky suffered a tough loss to Tennessee this week. They were without star corner Max Hairston, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury for the last several weeks.
Hairston’s injury will be checked out after the season. He has good ball skills and anticipation to help his draft stock. Hairston also shows a willingness in run support that should help his draft stock. He is currently projected to be a day-two pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
