Allen, 23, was traded to the Cavaliers midway through the 2020-2021 season. For the whole year, Allen averaged 12.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. He has averaged 1.4 blocks per game in his career.
The Cavaliers just drafted a rookie big man in Evan Mobley, but Allen will be more of a polished interior defender for the team. Cleveland will hope to build a playoff team by re-signing Allen and keeping him with their young core.
