Beal, 29, has spent his entire 10-year career with the Wizards. He has averaged 22.1 points and 4.2 assists per game in his career. Over his 10 seasons, he has made three All-Star Games and one All-NBA team.
Despite Beal’s great play, the Wizards have struggled to advance deep in the playoffs. They have made the playoffs five times and have never been past the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals during Beal’s tenure. With him re-signing, the Wizards will try to build around him for more success in the postseason.
