As is tradition, most esports orgs will have new jerseys coming out every year. TSM is no different in this regard. With so many changes, they have been talking about a new era for TSM with new faces and teams moving forward. This is the first step in that process for 2022. TSM are bringing in this new era with jerseys that are a far cry from the ones in the past. Most of the jerseys have been relatively plain. The idea being that TSM stands out and does not need anything overly special to get the attention of fans. For this new one though, it is clear that all of that was thrown out.
In the TSM 2022 Jerseys, fans will be able to see the coordinates for the team facility. Many orgs are starting to lean into this and TSM certainly have with past products as well. With this new option though, the jersey has much more going on under the logo than in past.
The blocks line up to almost form an arrow. They are reminiscent of something one would see in VALORANT or on a VALORANT broadcast. Regardless of the connections that may or may not be seen, TSM are trying to establish something new.
Spica being the only one in the video makes it seem that he will be either the new face or one of them. With the VALORANT roster not officially revealed it makes sense to have Spica so as not to spoil anything.
