Arcane Season 2 Announced

The series debuted with a bang, to say the least. Arcane’s first three acts displayed a quality and level of detail that surprised the entire world. Made enjoyable for League of Legends fans and nonfans alike, Arcane stands as one of the most successful Netflix series of all time. Riot immediately followed up the end of Arcane with a season 2 announcement, satiating the fans’ desires for more.

In the trailer, Caitlyn states, “every way I slice it… If I go after your sister alone, one of us comes back in a box.”

To which Vi replies, “I can do this myself. No one else needs to get hurt.”

Jinx concludes the teaser by stating, “I’m glad it’s you. Had to be you.”

From just this short teaser, the focus of Vi and Jinx’s sisterhood is shown to be an overarching theme. Likely holding center to the plot of Season 2, their unique relationship reflects pain while balancing love and respect for one another. In addition, Caitlyn stands as Jinx’s rival. Cait essentially stole Vi from Jinx. Furthermore, their character motivations directly conflict with one another.

Conclusion

To sum up, Arcane season 2 will surely be another banger. Extending the story further, while expanding upon the world of Runeterra, Arcane Season 2 will build and strengthen the story. But unless production for season 2 began behind the scenes months ago, keeping up the level of quality will prove undeniably difficult. Hopefully, Riot’s production team takes their time and execute Arcane Season 2, or have already taken the time and kept it secret. Nonetheless, with no official release date for the second season, all the fans can do is wait patiently for more content.
