There are a lot of new Pokemon coming with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Some of them are evolutions of older Pokemon, new forms of previous Pokemon or just completely new Pokemon. This is part of what makes new Pokemon games so much fun. A brand new Pokemon is Gimmighoul and it has one of the most unique ways to evolve in Pokemon ever. Here is how to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo.

There was a new Pokemon revealed alongside Pokemon Go called Gimmighoul. This Pokemon was a coin Pokemon that was rumored and then eventually leaked. This Pokemon runs around the Paldea region and is generally found in Treasure Chests but occasionally it can be found running around. What many people did not expect was for it evolve.
The surfer-bro-looking Pokemon has been making waves (pun intended). So many people are wanting to know how get this golden laidback Pokemon and it will certainly not be easy.
Here is how to Evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo.
Players will have to collect 999 coins. The only ways to do this are to find Gimmighoul that are running around Paldea. There will be a musical indicator when they are found. They will give players normally one but potentially more coins. The best way to find coins though is in the towers that are scattered throughout Paldea. At the top, there will be the Treasure Chest Gimmighoul, most of the time. The spawning is still a little random.
Once they are defeated in battle they will give players 50 coins. That means that players need to defeat 20 Treasure Chest Gimmighoul to evolve their Gimmighoul into Gholdengo.
