Following the release of My Hero Ultra Rumble, everyone’s eager to be a hero too. However, with heroes also comes a batch of villains as well. There have been reports of cheaters starting to surface in the anime Battle Royale title. Fans aren’t happy about this one bit, especially for those who choose to play on PC. Nobody wants to face cheaters and hackers in My Hero Ultra Rumble. At least not if they can help it.

With Heroes, Must Come Villains
There have been reports of cheaters/hackers making themselves known on My Hero Ultra Rumble. These cheaters enable certain features such as infinite cooldown for skills, maxed-out abilities, and even invincibility. Reddit user WiseCoast6018 was lucky enough to capture a cheater on video. The player in question was playing Tsuyu Asui and was able to go Plus Ultra repeatedly, never running out of the mode. Going plus ultra not only amplifies the level of a character’s quirk but also makes their attacks stronger and faster. With this in mind, it is clear to see the unfair advantage that this provides cheaters.
The issue itself is primarily only affecting PC users as it’s much easier to hack the game there compared to consoles. The game currently doesn’t have crossplay, a highly requested feature, so console players aren’t running into any hackers at the moment. With cheaters making themselves known, some players are against having the feature until a resolution is reached. Twitter user @Kackel_12 was also able to capture their experience as a hacker used an invincibility cheat.
So What’s Next For My Hero Ultra Rumble?
So far there has been no official announcement from the MHUR dev team or from socials addressing any cheating situation. There is a method for players to submit gameplay feedback so that seems like a viable option for the moment. Until then, players will have to hope they don’t run into a cheater/hacker during their time playing My Hero Ultra Rumble. Either that or switch to the console version of the game if that avenue is open.

I’ve seen people on streams literally instantly coming up from downs and popping plus ultra 17 times in 1 fight, and it’s not even a small problem, there is literally at least 1 cheater in every single lobby on pc.
It’s ridiculous at this point. Hope it gets resolved soon 🙏🏾
