In true D.C. fashion, the team sports a red, white and blue color scheme, as well as a star-spangled shield. Mark Ein, the team’s owner, states that both the branding and the name itself are a tribute to the region the team represents.
As of today, the Justice have only officially announced one member of their roster, former New York Excelsior player Joon-hwa “Janus” Song. They have also announced their core staff, made up of general manager Kate “Kate” Mitchell, head coach Hyeong-seok “WizardHyeong” Kim, and assistant coaches Molly “AVALLA” Kim and Mikael “mkL” Skjønhaug.
With Washington’s official announcement, all eight expansion teams have announced their branding for the upcoming season. The other seven have also announced their rosters already and the Justice will likely join them in the next few days.
The Washington Justice will debut in the second season of the Overwatch League, beginning on February 14, 2019. For more updates and breaking news on the Overwatch League, keep up with us here at The Game Haus!
