In a clip shared on Reddit, a professional Baptiste player William ‘Lyar’ Ohlstein masterfully threw an immortality field from the literal spawn point of Illinois into the contested point during overtime. The projectile disk flies all the way across the map, passing by buildings and landing perfectly on point after bouncing through the window of the chimney.
For those who don’t know, Baptiste’s immortality field creates an area of effect zone where the allied heroes cannot take damage, thereby often serving as a valuable tool for shifting the tides of the game. But the ability is very much a skill shot, thereby requiring precision aim and practice to utilize effectively.

“From down town, all the way to the point, in overtime!” the commentator yells, commending the support player on the phenomenal play. Although the immortality field didn’t influence the tides of the fight all that much, as Lyar’s team was in full control of the point, the people watching flip out over the precision of the toss.
“That’s insanely precise,” the top Reddit comment states.
Many look towards the video, and see it as an impossible and very impressive skill, while others see video as a goal. “I am going to try and make this throw every time I leave spawn as bap on this map now,” one ambitious support player said.
“I can hit all kinds of points with Ana grenade from spawn, but no way I’m nailing this pro disc golf shot,” another added, admitting to the pure level of skill portrayed in the clip.
