USF Fires Head Coach Jeff Scott
After starting the season at 1-8, USF has fired head coach Jeff Scott. He was 4-26 overall in three seasons with the school.
San Diego State Expected to Join the Pac-12
According to Dan Patrick, San Diego State is expected to join the Pac-12 in an announcement that could come later this week. After USC and UCLA leave, San Diego State would bring the number of Pac-12 teams up to 11.
Clemson Defensive End Xavier Thomas Out for Season
Clemson defensive end Xavier Thomas is out for the season with a foot injury. He has two tackles for loss and two sacks this season in three games played.
Coastal Carolina QB Grayson McCall Out 3-6 Weeks
Coastal Carolina quarterback and two-time Sun Belt Player of the Year Grayson McCall will be out three to six weeks with a foot injury. He suffered in during week 10 against Appalachian State.
Other News and Notes
- LSU was fined $250k for storming the field after beating Alabama. They were also fined $250k after storming the field following their defeat of Ole Miss.
- Nebraska has suspended safety Myles Farmer following a DUI arrest.
