The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2025 Gator Bowl.
Duke Blue Devils Draft Prospects
Chandler Rivers, CB
Rivers joined Duke in 2022 and made an immediate impact in the secondary. After starting about half of the games in 2022, he started all of them in 2023 and hasn’t looked back since. In 2024, he has 52 total tackles, nine passes defended and three interceptions.
At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, Rivers is pretty undersized for an NFL corner. He will need to add strength to his frame, but may have to play specifically in the slot. His three good seasons to start his career help his stock, but he could also return to school to improve his stock.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Vincent Anthony, EDGE
Anthony joined Duke in 2022 and started in his first season. He only started four games in 2023, but re-enetered the starting lineup full-time in 2024. This season, he has registered 23 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss and five sacks.
He stands 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds, which is a good frame to work with. Anthony could continue to add strength to help fill out his frame more. Anthony could return to school for one more season, as it isn’t a sure thing he gets drafted.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Other Draft Prospects: DL Kendy Charles (UFA)
Ole Miss Rebels Draft Prospects
Walter Nolen, DL
Nolen started his college career with Texas A&M in 2022. He played two seasons for the Aggies, then transferred to Ole Miss for the 2024 season. This season, he has totaled 48 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
At 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, Nolen has solid size for an interior defensive lineman. He moves extremely well for his size, making him a disruptive player. There is a chance he goes in the frst round, but it is a deep defensive line class.
Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick-Second Round Pick
Princely Umanmielen, EDGE
Umanmielen started his college career at Florida. He played there for four seasons, creating a decent impact for the Gators. He transferred to Ole Miss before the 2024 season. In 2024, he has 34 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks.
He stands at 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, which is solid size for an NFL edge rusher. Umanmielen really improved his stock this season, as he increased his sack production to a level that he had never achieved before. If he tests well, getting picked early on day-two of the 2025 NFL Draft wouldn’t be shocking.
Projected Draft Range: Second Round Pick-Third Round Pick
*LB Chris Paul is opting out for this game. He is a projected mid to late-round pick.
Other Draft Prospects: WR Tre Harris (2nd-3rd), CB Trey Amos (2nd-3rd), QB Jaxson Dart (3rd-5th), EDGE Jared Ivey (3rd-5th), DL JJ Pegues (4th-6th), WR Juice Wells (4th-6th), TE Cade Prieskorn (6th-UFA), OT Micah Pettus (6th-UFA), RB Ulysses Bentley (6th-UFA), EDGE Khari Coleman (UFA), WR Jordan Watkins (UFA), S Yam Banks (UFA)
