The NFL season is over, so it is time to look ahead. Here is the 2023 NFL Mock Draft March 21.
1. Carolina Panthers (via CHI)- C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State
The Panthers have moved up to the number one overall pick to take their quarterback. C.J. Stroud seems to be the best fit for Frank Reich’s system. Stroud has great ball placement and has solid size.
2. Houston Texans- Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
Even though they were jumped by the Panthers, the Texans may still get the quarterback they want. Young can make plays outside of structure and was clutch during his Alabama career.
3. Arizona Cardinals- Will Anderson, EDGE, Alabama
Arizona is likely going to be fielding some calls from teams looking to move up for a quarterback. If they stick with the pick, they can take Anderson, who is a good pass rusher, but also solid against the run.
4. Indianapolis Colts- Will Levis, QB, Kentucky
Indianapolis has gone through plenty of veteran quarterbacks over the last few seasons, but it is time for them to get a young one to develop. Levis has good physical tools, but could have better decision-making.
5. Seattle Seahawks (via DEN)- Tyree Wilson, EDGE, Texas Tech
After nailing last draft, the Seahawks can get a good pass rusher to help their young defense.
6. Detroit Lions (via LAR)- Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia
They improved their secondary in free agency, which gives the Lions some flexibility. Carter is the best player available and disruptive.
7. Las Vegas Raiders-Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida
The Raiders may have just signed Jimmy Garoppolo, but he may not be a long-term answer. Richardson, who tested off the charts at the combine, may be too physically gifted to pass up.
8. Atlanta Falcons- Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon
Getting a young corner across from A.J. Terrell would really improve their defense. Gonzalez tested well at the combine and has the athleticism to match up with NFL receivers.
9. Chicago Bears- Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State
If the Bears keep Teven Jenkins at guard and move Cody Whitehair to center, they can improve with another offensive tackle. Johnson moved from guard to tackle this season, where he is a much more natural fit.
10. Philadelphia Eagles (Via NO)- Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas
Over the last few seasons, the Eagles have really built up their roster across the board. They can improve the running back position by taking Robinson, who can do it all.
11. Tennessee Titans- Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern
Skoronski was recruited as a center, but played left tackle well for the last few seasons at Northwestern. The Titans cut Taylor Lewan and can play Skoronski at left tackle or move him inside.
12. Houston Texans (via CLE)- Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU
After getting a franchise quarterback, the Texans need to get him a number-one option. Johnston is big and fast, which creates a mismatch outside.
13. New York Jets- Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia
The Jets lost Mekhi Becton to injury last season, but they still need help on the offensive line.
14. New England Patriots- Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois
Taking Witherspoon will allow the Patriots to move Marcus Jones to nickel and improve their secondary as a whole.
15. Green Bay Packers- Brian Branch, S, Alabama
The Packers have not had great safety play this season. Branch shows good play recognition and can line up anywhere in the secondary.
16. Washington Commanders- Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State
Washington can get a really physical corner in Porter Jr. to improve their secondary.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers- Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia
After improving the offensive line in free agency, the Steelers can get a good athlete at corner in Ringo.
18. Detroit Lions- Jordan Addison, WR, USC
Losing D.J. Chark in free agency opens things up for the Lions to take another receiver.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee
Donovan Smith has been cut and Tristan Wirfs will likely move to left tackle, making right tackle a need.
20. Seattle Seahawks- Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina
*The Miami Dolphins forfeited their first-round pick.
21. Los Angeles Chargers- Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College
With the injuries to Keenan Allen and Mike Williams this season, the Chargers may want to get more help at wide receiver. When they are on the field Flowers can stretch the field and open things up for everyone.
22. Baltimore Ravens- Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee
The Ravens have preferred taking wide receivers with speed to stretch the field in the past and may take Hyatt to do the same thing.
23. Minnesota Vikings- Deonte Banks, CB, Maryland
Minnesota has not had a great defense this season and can improve in the secondary.
24. Jacksonville Jaguars- O’Cyrus Torrence, OG/C, Florida
The Jaguars have Calvin Ridley coming in next season, so they may elect to improve the offensive line instead of giving Trevor Lawrence more weapons.
25. New York Giants- Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson
They ranked 22nd in sacks last season so getting another edge rusher couldn’t hurt.
26. Dallas Cowboys- Adetomiwa Adebawore, DL, Northwestern
Adebawore had a great combine and can really helpt the interior of the Cowboys’ offensive line.
27. Buffalo Bills- Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama
With struggling in the red zone, the Bills may be tempted to take a running back to help them convert more.
28. Cincinnati Bengals- Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame
The Bengals have had success with Hayden Hurst, but Mayer is a hometown kid who is one of the better all-around tight end prospects in recent memory.
29. New Orleans Saints (via SF)- Nolan Smith, EDGE, Georgia
Nolan Smith was injured and missed a lot of last season, but tested extremely well at the combine.
30. Philadelphia Eagles- Antonio Johnson, S, Texas A&M
The Eagles have had some injuries to their safeties. Johnson is big, but athletic, making him a unique chess piece for Philadelphia.
31. Kansas City Chiefs- Lukas Van Ness, EDGE, Iowa
Kansas City lost Frank Clark this offseason and need a new edge rusher.

One glaring omission, you actually left WR1, and, by far, the best route runner, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, out of the first round?
You should not write about football ever again.
This is the only mock I’ve seen that has him out of the 1st round. Most current mocks have him going from #9 to #16, but you know better, right?
You don’t actually watch CFB, do you?
