Jensen and Cloud9 struggled at Worlds 2022 after what was a heralded reunion for the two. This led many to believe that Jensen would part ways with Cloud9 yet again, which certainly was a letdown for fans who remember the early days for both Jensen and the team. Even with him leaving though, Dignitas may not have been where fans expected him to end up.
The reason for this is that Dignitas did not even seem to be trying in 2022. Their roster went through major changes and there was not much surrounding the team in terms of social media posts or just general excitement. Yet, it looks like Dignitas may be changing their tune.
With rumors of players like Armut making their way to Dignitas and Biofrost coming off of a successful bounceback season, Dignitas certainly have some pieces to build around.
Cloud9 on the other hand are not without a mid laner, again. After the Fudge experiment did not go to plan, Jensen was called upon again. It will be interesting to see if the rumors of Diplex joining the team are true as Cloud9 looks to build up young talent as they have done many times before.
