MW2 Weapon Tuning Disabled

If players are having a hard time using Weapon Tuning in MW2 or can’t find it that’s because the feature is temporarily broken.

Weapon Tuning Disabled

Weapon Tuning was disabled because of a bug that causes the crashing of the game for players with five attachments on their weapons. There currently is no ETA on the enabling of Weapon Tuning.

Unlock Requirements

Just because it’s disabled right now doesn’t mean it won’t come back. Weapon Tuning can be unlocked by having the desired weapon at the first max level. Once achieved the player then must head into the Gunsmith. With any compatible weapons, any attachments can be equipped and tuned to the gamer’s preferences.

The Gun Stats

When tuning the following attributes can be adjusted while tuning :

Handling

  • Better reload speed and weapon switching speed.

Damage

  • Amount of damage the weapon can do.

Fire Rate

  • Rate of speed at which the gun can fire.

Mobility

  • The overall speed of player movement.

Range

  • The Distance at which the gun can hit targets. More range means targets can be hit from afar.

Recoil Control

  • Controls weapon shaking when firing. The more recoil control the steadier the aim.

Accuracy

  • Increases Hip Fire accuracy

ADS Speed

  • How fights sights can be aimed down.

Aim Walking Speed

  • Movement speed while aiming down sights.

Aim Idle Stability

  • Stable aiming while not moving.

    Thanks for telling us it’s disabled from within the game you POS developers.

    I just ran my first weapon to level 20, a tutorial popped up showing me how to use it, & I wasted my time trying to find it thinking it was just me not looking correctly.
    }
    As soon as I loaded the game there should’ve been a notice there about this & anything else disabled. I mean there’s no grayed out area either. There’s simply NOTHING

      Don’t let the cod drones weed you out of making the game devs held responsible testing would’ve easily solved all these issues and if you complaining about things is an issue for fellow players they should take a look around defending people that lazy is kinda stupid hold them accountable and expect something that easy besides that they’ve done what you described before they could easily post an update with the amount of make sure you upgrade to vault edition ads I’ve seen

    The corporation you’re defending like that has literally scammed billions out of people the least we should expect is a good game to be released not a broken shell of a game this isn’t cyberpunk where people whined for it to come out instead of It being fixed this is a corporation whose been dishing out the same garbage each year expecting better results they should’ve tested the game the fact that they are finding all of this out later when almost all of this pos game that’s breaking is stuff that could’ve been figured out easily if testing was done is pathetic and downright sad from a “video game giant” such as call of duty…

      While you are correct about some things like the corporation and devs being lazy you’re not realizing that they’ve legitimately perfected cod way back before bo2 and they’ve been getting worse on purpose they know exactly what they’re doing and we’re just collateral damage in a sense. . .
